Since October 7, 2023, Israeli emergency departments have faced a surge in severely wounded patients from the battlefield and from missile and drone attacks in residential areas.

AUSiMED is supporting an Australia-Israel partnership that addresses the urgent need in Israel to train more critical care doctors for responding to life-threatening injuries.

This initiative will also enable Australia to gain valuable insights into advanced Israeli trauma care innovations.
